This project comprises architectural and technical reconstruction of the existing building of Berulia hotel in Brela, construction of new hotel annex, construction of swimming pool next to the annex and new outdoor swimming pool. The planned annex will be built south of the main hotel building.
The existing buildings on the respective plot are hotel Berulia building, associated outdoor swimming pool and gym, beach facilities – restaurant Puž and toilet facilities. The existing hotel building comprises one underground level and 5 top levels.
Accommodation units are situated on all hotel levels. Currently, the hotel has a total of 154 accommodation units, of which 150 rooms and 4 suites. The reconstruction of the existing hotel includes expansion of existing rooms in the south and east part, construction of a new level in the west and central part of the hotel and construction of a new hotel annex comprising 18 new rooms. Nine new rooms on the annex ground floor will have direct access to the swimming pool from the room loggia. The project also includes the construction of a new hotel swimming pool in the south-east part of the plot. The total gross construction area of the hotel Berulia building amounts to 11,096.61 m², new annex to hotel Berulia 743.66 m², existing swimming pool 332.75 m², new swimming pool in front of the annex (swimming pool 1) 196.00 m2 and new outdoor swimming pool (swimming pool 2) 234.74 m2. This project will therefore increase the number of accommodation units to 187, of which 6 suites and 181 rooms.
The planned construction period is 5 months.
